For the love of Atemu! This isn't a chat room. Stop using Internet slang. Please take the time to follow appropriate rules and read what you are typing before you send it off. There isn't any harm in writing more than four letters to get a statement across, we have an actual chatroom for that.

She is right, try to add more to your posts. It is part of the rules that have been set. If you haven't read them, please do so.

Oh yea you said it has to be 3 or more sentences, but what about welcomes how are we suppose to make one sentence 3 isnt that kind of pointless?

And that is why I made that 'how to make a post' announcement in the site rules and regulations center. It's really easy to take one topic, which is your initial sentence, and turn it into an entire paragraph. It's what you do with thesis statements and the like. It's not rocket science. Give it your best every time, you'll be surprised at what you can do.

I get that but I'm saying its a simple welcome statement I'm not saying it can't be done, but I'm asking why, a statement is one sentence not three.

It's not a welcome statement, it's supposed to be an introduction. Do you just say one thing when you're asked to introduce yourself? Do you just say your name and just leave it at that? Typically, no, you don't. You take the time to properly introduce yourself somewhat at least.

Nvm i don't think you understood what I said. I was talking about the people who reply not the ones who introduce themselves. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Would you please make a conscious effort to keeping away from the internet slang and short hand? You're making an already difficult thing more difficult. So far, I haven't had a rough time with making a reply. They introduce themselves so you introduce yourself. It's that easy. If you're having a rough time getting that, I'll be happy to provide another tutorial or one should go read my 'How to make a post' instructions. It applies to every topic that is presented and will be presented.

Nice job with elongating your sentences. But now you just have to get the grammatical part right Always make sure you dot your I's and cross your T's oh and don't forget to capitalize the I as well. Lol I know sounds like a lot huh

Okay guys, enough with the fighting. What Ravage is trying to say that when posting, try to make your posts better by using better grammar and spelling. True, this is not a spelling bee but this is a social network. Your appearance reflects on how well you type. You should get used to better writing anyway, because once you hit college, you will be doing plenty of it, master mage should know that.

I'm not saying that you have to type out a eight paragraph reply that really just states something in a single sentence, but at least give it a try.

Oh waah. This wasn't a fight, it was a discussion. Probably the only one this site is ever going to see. Well, maybe not. Who knows? Anyway, Krobra kind of got the message, but not as well as I would've liked. What I meant is that you should use the English skills you were raised into using, there is no need for you to make yourself look like an idiot. I'm sure many of you are talented writers if you just got into the habit of using English properly. It's not hard when you've learned the language from day one. As it has been said, your use of your words reflects you. That is true, but it also reflects your dorm, your dueling ability and us as a whole. No one is going to want to duel someone if they look like an impartial buffoon now, would they? You could be the greatest duelist in the world, but if you type like you're in fourth grade, no one will ever take you or the rest of the academy seriously.

Unfortunately, if posting correctly is proving to be an issue, I might have to make it an offense. The appearance of this site is my responsibility and you all are an important part of it. If no one wants to take my rules seriously, I am willing to show you just how serious I can be.
